Purple Mountains Majesty, 11 x 11", original watercolor, Ready to hand on Eco-friendly mount
The colors are not representative, but this painting was inspired by the Blue Ridge Mountains in VA, The purple and orange are pure fantasy, I just love putting them together.
This is an original watercolor painting using professional materials by Melissa Tai.
This painting is mounted on a double layer of corrugated plastic (mostly likely a reclaimed campaign yard sign). Artist grade materials are used to adhere and protect the painting. The edges are covered with pH neutral tape for a clean finish. The plastic is cut slightly smaller than the painting, so that it is not visible from the front. It is wired and ready to hang.
The result is a clean contemporary look that is extremely light weight. It can hang many places a traditional piece cannot, or it is sturdy enough to sit on a shelf. You can hang it as it is, or you may wish to have it framed; in which case, you do not need glass.
This painting will never be reproduced as a print, you will be buying a one-of-a-kind painting.
It is signed on the front and back.
