Piemontite Leaves, 10 X 8, original watercolor painting
A fiery orange sky is the backdrop for warm glowing foliage. The leaves and ground cover are painted with Piemontite Genuine watercolor.
This specialty pigment is actually made from grinding the semi precious stones, it is part of the Daniel Smith Primatek collection. The result is a super granulating pigment that falls apart in unexpected ways in a wet wash. It also mixes very nicely with a wide range of other pigments. Using this paint adds a magic that can't be duplicated – not even if you try.
This is an ORIGINAL watercolor painting using professional materials by Melissa Tai.
This painting will never be reproduced as a print, you will be buying a one-of-a-kind painting.
It is signed on the front and back.
