Overgrown, Neglected Series, 11 x 11, Original Watercolor
Overgrown started out with just the grasses. I loved the brilliant sky, but the grass alone was not doing it justice. I decided to add an overgrown plant in front. The net effect is that by covering some of it up; it made the part that shows through that much brighter.
Neglected Series – This series celebrates nature uninterrupted. Overgrown, decaying and abandoned, mother nature will take back its own. Neglected has a negative connotation, but it is often from these ashes that beauty can emerge. I like to celebrate unexpected loveliness.
This is an original watercolor painting created using professional materials. It will never be reproduced as a print; you are buying a one-of-a-kind painting.
