I love wild places. The edge of a pond with lily pads, reeds, abundant vegetation and insects.
This painting is has many layers. Light areas were protected before another darker layer was applied. This was done multiple times to create depth and interest.
Neglected Series – This series celebrates nature uninterrupted. Overgrown, decaying and abandoned, mother nature will take back its own. Neglected has a negative connotation, but it is often from these ashes that beauty can emerge. I like to highlight unexpected loveliness.
This is an original watercolor painting created using professional materials. It will never be reproduced as a print, you will be buying a one-of-a-kind painting.
