At the Duck Pond, 11 x 15, Original Watercolor
During quarantine I created many peaceful and calm images. This was one of them. These images represented places I would like to be. The analogous color scheme and close range of values add to the peacefulness artistically. Aesthetically, the white clouds and still waters suggest a calm and quiet place. A pair of Mallard Ducks swim along. I think the vast open view was also a response to the confined feeling of the time.
This is an original watercolor painting created using professional materials. It will never be reproduced as a print; you are buying a one-of-a-kind painting.
