A pair of whitetail deer are in the middle of a city. At Riverview Park in Pittsburgh, PA you can easily ignore the sounds of the buses in the distance and think about the nature enveloping you. This park of rolling hills and winding trails is an overlooked gem. Hidden in their quiet nook, the deer are safe to nibble on vegetation.
The transparent nature of watercolor allow the leaves, tree trunks and deer to blend into each other. This highlights the camouflaging nature of these elements when they come together.
This painting is great for any nature lover.
Professional Watercolor pigments were used on Arches 300 lb paper. The paper is torn by hand to create a rough edge all the way around. Every effort is made to create straight edges. Please forgive tiny imperfections, they add to the authenticity of one-of-a-kind art.
