A tiny sparrow pauses for a moment from the activities of its busy morning. I watched this little one in the shadow of the large pine tree whose branch it was perched on. The bright morning light falling on the field in the background creates a striking silhouette.
Professional Watercolor pigments were used on Arches 300 lb paper. The paper is torn by hand to create a rough edge all the way around. Every effort is made to create straight edges. Please forgive tiny imperfections, they add to the authenticity of one-of-a-kind art. You can choose to frame with the edge visible or mat it for a clean edge.
