So many times, a painting like this one is just the first step. A flower, an animal or plant is painted after the background dries. But every so often I become enamored with it just the way it is. That is what happened here. Imagine it in a small white frame, on your night stand, on a shelf in the bathroom, or on your desk. So many places to add this tiny ray of sunshine.
Professional Watercolor pigments were used on Arches 300 lb paper. The paper is torn by hand to create a rough edge all the way around. Every effort is made to create straight edges. Please forgive tiny imperfections, they add to the authenticity of one-of-a-kind art. You can choose to frame with the edge visible or mat it for a clean edge.
No reproductions are permitted.
