I love deep purple flowers against a yellow/green background. The bright yellow sun suggested in this painting makes those purple flowers pop. This could be a in a garden or in a meadow. I always enjoy finding a beautiful flower where I don't expect one.
This is an original watercolor painting created using professional materials. It will never be reproduced as a print; you will be buying a one-of-a-kind painting.
This painting is mounted on a double layer of corrugated plastic (mostly likely a reclaimed campaign yard sign). Artist grade materials are used to adhere and protect the painting. The edges are covered with pH neutral tape for a clean finish. The plastic is cut slightly smaller than the painting, so that it is not visible from the front. It is wired and ready to hang.
The result is a clean contemporary look that is extremely light weight. It can hang many places a traditional piece cannot, or it is sturdy enough to sit on a shelf. You can hang it as it is, or you may wish to have it framed; in which case, you do not need glass.
